Soccer Season
The Oil Region Soccer Association provides soccer teams for a variety of ages
for boys and girls, and young men and women in Venango County and surrounding
areas. A nonprofit organization, its teams participate primarily in PA West Youth
Soccer competition in the United States Soccer Federation. Relying on volunteers
and parents, ORSA functions year-round to provide the opportunity for players to
improve their skills and take part in this fun and exciting game. Under sanctioned and regulated play,
team members gain strength, agility, and soccer skills. ORSA also offers referee and
coaches clinics periodically to provide training for young people and adults to become
officials and certified coaches.
Fall Traveling Season
Ages: 11-14
When: September-November
Cost: varies
The fall traveling teams compete in PA West with other
Division II teams. Playing full-scale soccer, games are held
on Sundays, while practices are held during the week. Home
games are held at Sugarcreek Middle School's field.

Spring Traveling Season
Ages: 11-19
When: March-June
Cost: varies
The spring season is when ORSA sponsors the highest
number of teams. Each team has its own coach and assistant
coach, taking part in regular PA West play. |
